Since the availability of fresh fly ash is declining due to reduced coal-fired power generation, this project goes beyond common practice by recovering and repurposing waste fly ash, which leads to a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

By substituting fly ash for Portland Cement, the project is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by over 100,000 tonnes, with even greater potential in regions with large stockpiles of waste fly ash. This initiative supports a low-emission, circular economy by turning waste into valuable resources.
